Supplier Code of Conduct Policy

Introduction

At Redstor, we are committed to conducting business with integrity and in a socially and environmentally responsible manner. We expect our suppliers and business partners to share this commitment and to adhere to the following code of conduct. It should be noted that it is the intention of this policy to outline the way in which Redstor and its suppliers will conduct themselves when entering a contractual relationship. It should be noted for the avoidance of doubt, that this policy is not intended to be legally enforceable nor to create any legal rights or obligations to undermine our contracts with suppliers.

Compliance with Laws and Regulations

Redstor expects its suppliers to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards in the countries in which they operate.

Labour Standards

Suppliers must treat their workers with respect and dignity, providing a safe and healthy work environment, fair wages, and reasonable working hours in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Child Labour and Forced Labour

As per our Modern-Day Slavery Transparency Statement, suppliers shall not employ child labour or use any form of forced or involuntary labour in their operations or business practices.

Non-Discrimination

Suppliers must provide equal employment opportunities and shall not discriminate against employees based on race, colour, religion, gender, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic.

Environmental Sustainability

Suppliers are encouraged to implement environmentally sustainable practices and reduce their environmental impact where possible.

Ethical Business Practices

Redstor expects high standards of business ethics from its suppliers.  Suppliers must conduct their business with honesty, integrity, and transparency, and avoid any corrupt or unethical practices.

Conflicts of Interest

Suppliers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may arise in their business relationship with Redstor.

Privacy and Data Protection

Suppliers must handle any personal or sensitive information shared by Redstor with the utmost care and comply with relevant data protection laws.

Product Quality and Safety

Suppliers must provide products and services that meet the agreed-upon quality and safety standards.

Health and Safety

Redstor expects suppliers to maintain comprehensive health and safety practices and procedures and comply with health and safety legislation in the jurisdiction in which they operate.

Business Continuity Preparedness

Redstor expects suppliers to maintain sufficient business continuity plans and procedures as to provide reassurance that in the event of a business continuity event, the supplier will be able to take reasonable steps to remediate and recover from such eventualities.

Responsibility to Supply Chain

Suppliers are encouraged to promote responsible business practices throughout their supply chain. Redstor expects its suppliers to conduct business fairly throughout the supply chain, requesting that suppliers do not pass down unreasonable levels of risk to subcontractors who may not be reasonably expected to hold or manage such risk.

Community Engagement

Redstor is an advocate of community engagement and encourages suppliers to engage with and support the communities in which they operate. 

Transparency and Reporting

Suppliers shall be transparent about their operations and provide information as requested by Redstor for assessment and reporting purposes.

Continuous Improvement

Suppliers are expected to continuously improve their performance in line with this code of conduct and seek opportunities for enhancing social and environmental responsibility.

Confidentiality

Suppliers are expected to as per the terms of contract, maintain confidentiality and any legal requirements to protect sensitive information as are Redstor. Redstor and its suppliers alike may also be party to confidential information that is deemed necessary for the business relationship. Such information, even if not covered by contractual provisions, should be handled with the same care as information of similar sensitivity.

It is recognised that despite this mutual requirement for confidentiality, neither party is prevented from disclosing information if compelled to do so, by law.

Whistleblowing

Redstor expects suppliers to maintain sufficient whistleblowing policy documentation which facilitates employees reporting of any incidents or concerns anonymously, without repercussion nor fear of their safety.

Cyber Security

Given the nature of our business, Redstor expects its suppliers to protect with reasonable technical and non-technical measures, the confidentiality, availability and security of their information assets and data within their protection.

Compliance

Failure to comply with this Supplier Code of Conduct may result in corrective action, up to and including termination of the business relationship.

By entering a business relationship with Redstor, suppliers agree to abide by this code of conduct and support our commitment to responsible and ethical business practices.
